Does anyone know how one can force the DHW sensor to update more frequently please? I have a schedule for hot water from 08:10 to 08:40 which was at 35.6°C then jumped slightly to 37°C at 08:40 and did not rise again to the final temperature until an hour later.

So one could be tricked to believe that the HW heater never came on when viewing the app or controller prior to 09:40.

OK to combine Evohome partial load scaling and boiler temp compensation

Had to get Evohome Opentherm bridge removed as the Baxi system boiler isn't fully compliant with Opentherm and goes full whack at 82C when Evohome sends a 100% demand. It is not possible to turn down the CH max on the boiler.

So reverted to a BDR relay for the boiler and have selected Partial Load Scaling which seems to work OK, albeit the boiler temp is static at 65c. Is it OK to add in the IFOS weather compensation to the Baxi or would the reduced CH flow temperature upset the logic used by Evohome in their partial load scaling?

Economy (Eco/Boost) setting not reflected in app

I have mentioned before in another thread but think it worth it's own thread.

If I set Eco mode on the controller it operates properly and reduces the set temperatures. If I then open the app it shows the set back temperatures but does not show the system is in Eco mode. The only way to cancel Eco mode from the app is to set it from the app and then cancel it from the app.

This is a problem when I set Eco mode because I am away for a few hours but want to cancel it before I get home so that the house is up to temperature when I get home.

I have tried resetting by removing power (batteries) from the controller untill I get a loss of comms email, then powering back up, but the problem remains. I have also tried the app from another phone but no different. Controller and iPhone app are on latest versions.

HR92 - Reporting wrong temperature

One HR92 is reporting the room temperature to be 28.0 when the actual temperature is c. 21.0.

The batteries were “lowish” so I replaced them - the fault persisted. The only other “fix” I have tried is to rebind the HR92 to the controller - successfully.

The HR92 in question is clearly communicating with the controller and the app.

Where now? Is there anything else I can do, or do I have to fit a new HR92?

Thanks in advance
